Different people have their own interpretation on what writing is to be. Some say it's a profession while others say its a process of using the alphabetical letters to create desired words and texts to express an idea or personal thoughts.
where as a remix is known as the reformation/remodeling of an existing piece of media or an individuals original idea/work. It is impossible to have a remix without first having some existing form of media/work. Remixing has been going on since the beginning of recorded sound in the 1940's and the 1950's.
There is a connection between the two being that many if not all of the writings today are remixed thoughts of someones ideas. Writers these days seem to get inspiration or ideas from the everyday things around them which, are the original ideas of brilliant minds that have paved the way for such persons who follow them up. At the end of this first year composition class i expect to have improved writing skills as well as enhanced and developed thoughts on writing, while understanding having to use a variety of technologies to address a range of audiences along with learning many different styles of writing. furthermore i expect to regularly apply citation conventions in my work. Finally i hope to learn how to take and act upon productive feedback as well give it, along with being able to formulate a writing project through using multiple drafts. Once this course is completed i plan to would have gained a better understanding of how to write and be able to decipher different types of genre, along with being able to use different strategies such as response, critique and interpretation, overall enhancing my writing skills helping to make me a better student.
